Why I Will No Longer Use GenAI for any Blog Content

I haven’t tried to be subversive in any way with my use of GenAI. I used it to help organize and layout many of my blog posts. But what I never did was to have it unilaterally create content that I wasn’t explicitly controlling. I’ve used it for research, I’ve used it for organization of content, and to give me options for how to word things. Some of the blogs on here, while crafted in part by GenAI, are my ideas, my knowledge, my content even though GenAI has helped shape some of it. I’m not going to use it for any help in my blog content organization or creation any more. What I’ve seen over the last few weeks is that everyone is starting to sound the same, including the content that I’ve spent time crafting and have had GenAI help me organize. I can see, pretty consistently, when content has been fully created by GenAI, and people are using it for LinkedIn Posts, comments on LinkedIn, and blogs. There’s too much consistency and it all sounds the same. I will be spending some time going back over a few of my blog posts that I had GenAI help me write and organize because I have no intention of being in that crowd. This is my content and my expertise and my opinion and I won’t be part of the collective GenAI brain rot.
